We went straight to reclamation area 2004. Ground pegs, ropes, and length measurement devices were prepare to make a sampling square 20 x 40 m2 which were divided by several smaller squares. The 20 x 20 m2 were intended for tree vegetation level, 10 x 10 m2 were made for Ferns, 5 x 5 m2 were for saplings and undergrowth, while 2 x 2 m2 were made for the seedlings.

Tree is a plant with diameter of trunk > 20 cm, Ferns has the diameter 10 – 19 m. Saplings has diameter of <10 cm and height >1,5 m. While seedlings has < 1,5 m. The undergrowth, including bushes, grasses, and the other seasonal vegetation. We recorded and marked up the sampling square, using GPS, Lux meter, and Thermo-Hygrometer. We also identified the plants species and the amount of the same plant available in the sampling square. Not every plant were successfully identified, so we need to check it on Determination Key And Database. The unidentified vegetation were then be marked and named by a code of Alphabets (A, B, C, D, etc).

The Reclamation Area 2004 on the convex and flat surfaces has highly diverse vegetations, but the statistical data cannot be published right away. Beside that, diverse undergrowth invites different kinds of animal species that sensitive to environmental damage, like dragonflies, frogs, and grasshoppers. The diversity of the environmental damage’s animal indicator has shown that the reclamation acted on the area was successful of reducing the environmental damage.
